track lighting

Wow, haven't posted in this thing since September? Life has gotten in the way yet again, hasn't it? But I've kept up drawing even through this writing school, so it's pretty cool. I have pieces that I've started, including an Olympics one, that I haven't finished yet. Eep.

Anywho, last Tuesday I was an art fiend and drew a series of sketches throughout Writing for Animation class (which makes it totally legit). But this one was during lunch, and it's so lovely I had to share.

So I actually did something crafty. This is a pretty cool little box. I have to give it another coat of Mod Podge tomorrow but then it should be good.

Seriously, all of them have her. I was going through my old sketches (cleaning off my desk) and decided to scan some of the ones I like. She is the one that I draw most often, maybe because I can draw her so easily at this point (my rendition of her, anyways) that it's convenient. So enjoy this whole stack.

Someone asked for some of my sketches of Davenport and Goddard. These are out of a large number of them, because most of them are just that- sketches- and aren't so good (in my opinion, of course). But here are a few OK ones!

They haven't reached Team Rocket yet in terms of sheer quantity of pictures, haha. (I have a five-inch portfolio stuffed full of pics.) But give it a couple years. XD

Someone on rigelianculture asked for a "Goddard kissing Davenport" picture and I jumped at the chance. So here's the result! Happy Valentine's!

So, kids, it's here. ^_^ At least, the beginning part of it. There will be much more when I can get the rest of the tone that I need to finish the first pages. But anyway, here's enough of a taste that will hopefully leave you anticipating more.

These are the first five pages of "Same Old, Same Old". This was an unused Space Cases script that I really wanted to try to make into a comic. I found it on Peter David's little page at the Space Cases TV site; it was originally printed in the Comic Buyers' Guide, issues #189-199. My disclaimer is that I did not think of or write this script: Myrna David put on her thinking cap and Peter David and Bill Mumy put pen to paper. Nor, however much I want to, do I own any of the characters or anything like that. All the artwork, however, is mine. ♥

As for what's actually going on here? Well, you'll just have to come back and see, yes? ^_^ Or read the script... but wouldn't reading the comic be more fun? As always, comments and constructive criticism are appreciated. ^_^
I anticipate better art as the series goes on! Let's hope this is a beginning!

That will change after I get the comic under way!
Anyway, I've come out with a new Space Cases picture in time for Halloween. ♥ (It was done before Halloween, but I didn't scan it in until today.) And everyone knows that I love dressing up characters as other characters. So, enjoy the Casers in some other familiar space military gear... the cast of Irresponsible Captain Tylor!

So, as some may have read on my real LJ tragic_elegance, this month is LiCoDMo, or Lindsay's Comic Drawing Month, so I'll probably have stuff to put up before the holidays. No more of this every-five-months crap. XD
